In just a few pages, Patsy Culp Hull has shared an entire lifetime and a world of love. It is apparent that the author’s mother, Ellie Irene Culp, was an unforgettable individual. She was an upright, God-fearing woman; a genteel lady; a loving wife and devoted mother; and a caring human being who loved not only humanity, but the animals and nature that so generously surrounded her.
Ms. Hull takes the reader on an intimate stroll through the life of a woman not blessed with many luxuries, but gifted with abundant love. One can almost see through the writer’s eyes as she witnesses this amazing mother

Patsy Culp Hull has written a refreshing book: one that is not filled with violence, sex, drugs and offensive "adult" orientated language. This book can be enjoyed by both young and old alike and will leave you with the realization that no matter what curve life seems to throw at you, if you remain faithful to God, He will remain faithful to you. Thank you, Patsy Culp Hull for sharing the story of your family with us. What an incredible way to honor your parents and if more books were written this way I believe that we would see a change in our beliefs and actions. Very well done. This book is very touching and shows the love that Patsy Culp Hull had for her mother and the love that her mother had for everyone. There needs to be more books like this so that we can all be encouraged to love and be loved. Mrs Culp, the mother, never gave up in life. We should all have an "arranged departure" like this one. I am ready for more books by Patsy Culp Hull. This is her first book so far and I hope she goes on and on with this. I love true life stories like this that are so touching. The book is not too long and drawn out where you lose interest, it is the perfect length to keep you hanging on and wanting more. Everyone needs a copy of this book for their night stand to read when they are discouraged. When you think that things are not going your way, read this and you will realize that it all works out in the end. Donna Frank

Thank you for sharing: Thank you Mrs Culp Hull for writing this story. I have re-read this several times and every time I get inspiration from your mother and hope that someday I will depart from this world the way she did, with so much love in her heart. While it is wise to learn from experience, it is wiser to learn from the experiences of others. Again, thank you for sharing.
