I was born in a small town in northeastern Louisiana, one of eleven siblings.  I still reside in that area with my husband.    I have one son, one daughter and one granddaughter.

I am a published poet and have written many poems and songs. I have always had a love for writing and expressing my thoughts and feelings, especially about people and real life incidents.

The strength, will power, and love of my late mother was my inspiration to write my first book.

I would like to reach other people who may be caretakers for their elderly parents and share my experiences with them. I would also like for others to share my mother’s life and know even though she had a very hard and difficult early life, in the end she is living in a mansion and actually got an Angel Escort to Heaven when she departed.

I battle a debilitating disease called Fibromuscular Dysplasia, which is a rare disease which mainly effects women. "FMD" causes a narrowing of the arteries and a lack of blood flow to the affected organ(s).

I am a member of the Fibromuscular Dysplasia Society of America, Inc..
